Rome, Oct. 14 (LaPresse) – “An agreement with Iran that U.S. President Donald Trump talks about is a mirage. It would mean Tehran’s suicide. The regime’s fear comes from the streets; it is convinced that a deal with the Americans would immediately throw it to the streets, ready to overthrow it. Knowing this, Trump tries to make clever moves so he can say he has explored all peaceful avenues to persuade Tehran to stop being a hostile country in the Middle East. That would give him broad support in the future for a possible military intervention,” Davood Karimi, president of the Association of Iranian Political Refugees in Italy, told LaPresse.
“The only main path is to support the Iranian people politically, to overthrow this regime that for 46 years has held the whole world hostage,” Karimi added.
