(LaPresse) – Ceremonies will be held today in Israel to commemorate the second anniversary of the attack launched by Hamas on 7 October, which this year coincides with the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. The day began with a ceremony at Kibbutz Kfar Aza, whose members are still awaiting the return of Ziv and Gali Berman, who were taken hostage and are being held in Gaza. At 11 a.m., dozens of bereaved families whose loved ones were killed at the Nova festival will hold a ceremony at the site of the rave. Kibbutz Nir Oz, the community most affected that day, will hold a ceremony at 6 p.m. At 9:30 p.m., a memorial ceremony for the bereaved families is scheduled to take place at Hayarkon Park in Tel Aviv, which will be broadcast on television.
