Rome, 5 October (LaPresse) – "Last night, Ukraine was again subjected to a joint Russian attack: over 50 missiles and about 500 attack drones. The Russians struck with cruise missiles, “shahed” and Kinzhal, among others. The regions of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odessa and Kirovohrad were all targeted. At present, it is known that about ten people were injured in the attack. Unfortunately, five were killed.‘ Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on X, adding: ’Today, the Russians have once again targeted our infrastructure, everything that guarantees a normal life for our people. We need greater protection and faster implementation of all defence agreements, especially in the field of air defence, to render this aerial terror meaningless. A unilateral ceasefire in the skies is possible, and it is precisely this that could pave the way for real diplomacy. America and Europe must act to stop Putin."
