Gaza, IDF: ‘900,000 gone, city almost empty’

Rome, 5 October (LaPresse) – According to new estimates provided by the IDF, the city of Gaza has been almost completely emptied of Palestinians. According to the army's assessments – reported by the Times of Israel – about 900,000 of the approximately 1 million Palestinians who resided in Gaza City before the IDF's major offensive have been evacuated to the southern part of the Strip. According to Israeli data, in recent weeks the rate of Palestinians leaving the area has increased, with the IDF's advance into Gaza City.
