Turin, Oct 1 (LaPresse) – "We strongly condemn the barbaric aggression against the Sumud Flotilla and consider it a criminal act that must be condemned by all free people of the world," Hamas declared in a statement quoted by Al Jazeera. "The interception of the Sumud Flotilla by the Israeli occupation army and the arrest of activists constitute acts of piracy and terrorism and will increase the anger of the peoples of the world," the statement reads. "We call on the international community to take responsibility by condemning the occupation’s piracy and adopting urgent measures to protect the activists and their ships," the Palestinian organization adds.
