Milan, Oct. 2 (LaPresse) – It is believed that around thirty Italians have so far been detained by Israel as part of the operation to intercept the boats of the Global Sumud Flotilla, which were headed to Gaza. This is according to informed sources, who also note that the number of detainees could rise as the boardings are still underway. The sources stress that the operation will proceed slowly to avoid any risks.
