Berlin (Germany), Sep 27 (LaPresse/AP) – One of the six runways at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands was closed for about 45 minutes early this afternoon after a drone sighting was reported around noon. Police spokesman Doron Wallin told the Associated Press that planes were diverted to another runway. Wallin specified that no drones or drone pilots were found and the runway was reopened. He added that such sightings are a recurring event, with 22 reports so far this year.
