Turin, 25 September (LaPresse) – European diplomats warned the Kremlin this week that NATO is prepared to respond with maximum force to further violations of its airspace, including the shooting down of Russian aircraft. Bloomberg reports this, citing officials who say that during a tense meeting in Moscow, British, French and German envoys expressed their concerns about last week's incursion by three MiG-31 fighter jets over Estonia. Following the closed-door meeting, diplomats concluded, according to sources, that the violation was a deliberate tactic ordered by Russian commanders.
