Middle East: Israeli operation in Tammun in the West Bank, two Palestinians killed

Milan, 25 September (LaPresse) – Two Palestinians were killed at dawn today after Israeli forces raided the town of Tammun in the northern West Bank and besieged a house on the eastern outskirts. This was reported by the Palestinian news agency Wafa, citing local sources and witnesses, according to whom the raid began shortly after midnight when special units infiltrated the town, surrounding a residential building and provoking clashes in the area. The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the two victims as Mohammad Qasem Suleiman, 29, and Alaa Jawdat Bani Odeh, 20. Wafa added that Israeli forces withdrew from Tammun after nearly three hours, taking with them the bodies of the two young men killed.
