Milan, Sept. 24 (LaPresse) – "What happened last night just a few dozen miles off the coast of Crete was an intolerably serious incident. And it should be intolerable to everyone — to us, to our government, to all institutions, and to anyone with a conscience."
These are the words of Maria Elena Delia, the Italian representative of the humanitarian mission Global Sumud Flotilla, in a video published on Instagram. She was referring to the drones that targeted the flotilla’s boats last night in international waters.
"All of this happened to boats flying Italian, British, and Polish flags," she added. "This means it’s as if Italy, the UK, and Poland were attacked. It means someone has declared war on these three countries. I expect this to spark outrage across the political spectrum, because this is an attack on Italy."
