Budapest, Sept. 23 (LaPresse) – "It is incomprehensible and scandalous that the European Parliament legitimizes far-left terrorism. The antifascist Ilaria Salis and her companions went to Hungary with the premeditated aim of randomly attacking people on the street, purely for political conviction. This is not a political issue, but a matter of terrorism," wrote Hungarian government spokesperson Zoltan Kovacs on X. "Yet the Brussels comrades are doing everything to let her escape her responsibilities. By defending her immunity, they are not only justifying a criminal, but in fact providing refuge to an antifascist terrorist," he explained. "We will not forget and we will not surrender. Ilaria Salis is a dangerous criminal who deserves to be in prison," he added.
