USA-UK, Trump greets the Royals and leaves Windsor Castle

Aylesbury (United Kingdom), Sept 18 (LaPresse) – King Charles and Queen Camilla greeted U.S. President Donald Trump, who is heading to Chequers, the country residence of Prime Minister Keir Starmer. After privately greeting the King and Queen inside Windsor Castle, Trump came out with the monarch. They talked for a few minutes, and Trump lightly touched Charles’ arm. They shook hands, and Trump placed his other hand on the King’s. Trump then addressed journalists, calling King Charles “a great gentleman and a great king.” They shook hands again before Trump approached his presidential limousine, got in, and left. Melania Trump stayed with Queen Camilla, planning to visit Queen Mary's Dolls' House, built a century ago for King George V's consort. Afterwards, they are expected to visit the Royal Library to meet local schoolchildren.
