Turin, Sept. 18 (LaPresse) – The UNHCR, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, reported a new "tragic incident off the coast of Tobruk" in Libya, "on September 13, where a boat carrying 74 people, mostly Sudanese refugees, capsized. Only 13 people survived and dozens remain missing." "Our condolences go to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives," the agency said in a post. In recent hours, the International Organization for Migration also reported that on September 14, a boat carrying 75 Sudanese refugees off the Libyan coast caught fire and "at least 50 people lost their lives."
