Milan, Sept. 18 (LaPresse) – French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte intend to present photographic and scientific evidence in a U.S. court to prove that Mrs. Macron is a woman.
Their lawyer stated that the presidential couple will submit this documentation in a defamation lawsuit filed against right-wing American influencer Candace Owens, who has repeatedly claimed that Brigitte Macron was born male. Owens’ legal team has responded by filing a motion to dismiss the case.
Speaking on the BBC podcast Fame Under Fire, the Macrons’ attorney, Tom Clare, said that Mrs. Macron found the accusations "incredibly upsetting" and that they have become a "distraction" for the French president. Clare added that "expert testimony of a scientific nature" will be presented, and although he did not reveal the exact content at this stage, he confirmed the couple is prepared to fully demonstrate “both generally and specifically” that the claims are false.
“It’s incredibly upsetting to think one has to go through this kind of proof,” Clare said, adding: “It will be a very public process that Brigitte Macron will have to undergo. But she is willing to do it. She is firmly determined to do whatever is necessary to set the record straight.”
“If that unpleasantness and discomfort she feels in exposing herself in that way is what it takes to stop all this, then she is 100% ready to carry that burden,” Clare assured.
