Turin, Sept. 15 (LaPresse) – U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to declare a national emergency in Washington. "The Federal Government, under my guidance as President of the United States, has stepped in to restore order in the complete criminal chaos that was Washington, the capital of our Nation," he wrote on Truth.

"Thanks to this, Washington has gone from being one of the most dangerous cities, heavily affected by homicides in the U.S., and even in the world, to one of the safest in just a few weeks. The city is literally booming, with restaurants, shops, and businesses crowded, and for the first time in decades, virtually no crime. It was something beautiful to witness, but now, under pressure from radical left Democrats, Mayor Muriel Bowser, who presided for years over this violent crime wave in our Capital, has informed the Federal Government that the Metropolitan Police Department will no longer cooperate with ICE in removing and relocating dangerous illegal immigrants," Trump continued.

"If I allow this to happen, crime will spread again. To the people and businesses of Washington, do not worry, I am with you and I will not allow it. I will declare a national state of emergency and, if necessary, federalize!" he added.
