Milan, 14 September (LaPresse) – Before being arrested on charges of murdering Charlie Kirk, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson joked in messages to some of his acquaintances that it was his doppelganger who was responsible for the murder. According to the New York Times, after the FBI released two images from Utah Valley University campus security cameras showing him, a friend of Robinson's tagged him on Discord, a messaging app, attaching the images and asking him ‘wya’ (where are you?) with a skull emoji. The 22-year-old responded shortly afterwards, saying that his “lookalike” was trying to “get him in trouble”.
