New York, Sept. 13 (LaPresse) – “We believe it is important to analyze the real extent of the consequences of the incident and compare it with the political clickbait pushed by Polish politicians and those from other European countries,” said Vassily Nebenzya, Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, following the drone incident. Nebenzya invited Polish officials to “take advantage” of Russia’s proposal to start talks, rather than “engage in megaphone diplomacy on multilateral platforms.”

“We have repeatedly stated that we are not interested in escalating tensions with Warsaw,” he reiterated, emphasizing that Moscow is “open to constructive cooperation with anyone genuinely focused on de-escalation and achieving peace in Europe, without pursuing conflict for particular political gains.”
