Poland, Warsaw: ‘Russian drones entering our airspace shot down’

Turin, September 10 (LaPresse) – "An operation is underway regarding multiple violations of Polish airspace. The military has used weapons against the targets," said Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on X. The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces reported that "some of the drones that entered our airspace have been shot down" and that "search and identification efforts are ongoing to locate possible crash sites of the objects." This is "an act of aggression that posed a real threat to the safety of our citizens" and "an unprecedented violation of Polish airspace by drones," commented the Operational Command, as quoted by Polish media. Deputy Prime Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz urged "the population to remain in their homes. The most at-risk areas are the voivodeships of Podlaskie, Masovian, and Lublin."
