Rome, Sept. 10 (LaPresse) – In a video posted on social media in English, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu compared yesterday’s Israeli raid in Doha, Qatar, against Hamas leaders to the operations carried out by the United States after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, whose anniversary is tomorrow. "What did America do after September 11? – Netanyahu asked – it promised to hunt down the terrorists who committed that heinous crime, wherever they were. And two weeks later, it also approved a resolution at the United Nations Security Council, stating that governments cannot give refuge to terrorists." According to Netanyahu, the State of Israel has followed the same approach. "We did exactly what America did when it attacked al-Qaeda terrorists in Afghanistan and after they went to kill Osama bin Laden in Pakistan," he claimed. The Israeli prime minister then directly addressed Qatar: "Either you expel them or you hand them over to justice. Because if you don’t, we will," he said, referring to the Hamas leaders.
