Rome, 8 September (LaPresse) – The French government led by François Bayrou failed to win the vote of confidence in the National Assembly. His executive has therefore been overthrown. There were 364 votes against and 194 in favour. Bayrou will now have to submit his resignation to the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron.
