Brussels, 4 September (LaPresse) – "China, Iran and North Korea represent individual challenges and, as a result of their cooperation, just look at the images from Beijing over the last two days. If you look at the images from Beijing over the last two days and the handshake, you can see that they are increasing their industrial cooperation in the defence sector to unprecedented levels. They are preparing for a long-term confrontation.‘ This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, speaking at the defence summit of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in Prague. ’The challenges we face are long-lasting. So we must be prepared. Of course, we have a real advantage in our unity and in the NATO alliance. It is not just about Europe, but about Europe and North America together," he added.
