Brussels, 1 September (LaPresse) – ‘An extraordinary meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council will be held today in Brussels at Ukraine's request and in response to Russia's recent massive air strikes.’ This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on social media. “We expect a focused discussion on joint steps to respond adequately to Russia's rejection of peace efforts and the escalation of terror against Ukrainians. We are grateful to NATO and all allies who continue to show strong support for Ukraine and significant efforts for peace. Moscow must feel stronger pressure as a result of the prolongation of the war,” he added.
