Reno (Nevada, USA), 1 September (LaPresse/AP) – A man has been found dead at the annual Burning Man art and music festival in the north-western Nevada desert in the United States. Authorities were alerted on Saturday during the gathering in the Black Rock Desert, about 175 kilometres north of Reno. Deputy sheriffs, along with Bureau of Land Management rangers, responded and “found an adult white male lying on the ground in a pool of blood, clearly deceased”. A murder investigation is underway. The investigation included questioning several participants and cordoning off an area where the body was found in the makeshift camp called Black Rock City. The identity of the deceased man has not been released. The body was taken to the coroner's office. The Pershing County Sheriff's Office said it appears to be an isolated incident but urged all festival attendees to be aware of their surroundings and the people they know.
