Milan, Aug. 31. (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the results of the talks between Russia and the United States in Alaska with Chinese President Xi Jinping. This was reported to journalists by presidential adviser Yuri Ushakov, as reported by the Russian news agency Tass. "Yes, our president, first of all, communicated in great detail, of course, with the president of the People's Republic of China. They sat down together and were able to talk actively and very effectively. Among other things, as our president told me, they discussed the latest contacts with the Americans, our contacts with the Americans," Ushakov said, referring to the summit between Putin and Donald Trump on August 15 in Alaska. Putin is in China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
