Frankfurt (Germany), 29 August (LaPresse) – At the Franco-German Council of Ministers in Toulon, France and Germany reached several agreements in the economic sector. Among the main measures is the possibility of setting industrial electricity prices flexibly and quickly in order to support energy-intensive industries. In key and strategic industrial sectors, including public procurement, rules will be introduced that favour European producers, strengthening the competitiveness of the continent's industry. Another key point concerns artificial intelligence: training programmes and the promotion of young talent will be expanded in both countries. In addition, France and Germany have agreed to simplify procedures and authorisations in Europe, reducing the bureaucratic burden on businesses without compromising safety and quality standards. The new legislation therefore aims to streamline existing requirements and facilitate the work of the competent authorities.
