Brussels, Aug 28 (LaPresse) – "Another night of relentless Russian bombardments has struck civilian infrastructure and killed innocent people. It also hit our EU Delegation in Kyiv. The staff of our Delegation is safe. Russia must immediately stop its indiscriminate attacks on civilian infrastructure and engage in negotiations for a just and lasting peace," wrote European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on social media. Meanwhile, the death toll from the devastating Russian ballistic missile and drone attack on Kyiv is worsening by the hour. At least 12 people have died, including three minors aged 2, 14, and 17. About forty are injured. According to the Air Force of the Kyiv Armed Forces, Russia used 629 drones and missiles in the massive attack in recent hours. Of these, 598 were drones and 31 missiles. 589 were shot down. A total of 13 locations were hit.
