Frankfurt (Germany), 28 August (LaPresse) – ‘Russia has once again shown its true colours tonight. We condemn in the strongest possible terms the serious attacks against the civilian population. The fact that the EU representation is now also under attack is testimony to the growing ruthlessness of the Russian regime.’ German Chancellor Friedrich Merz wrote this in a message on X after Russian attacks on Kiev during the night caused several civilian casualties.
