New York, 27 August (LaPresse) – Lorenzo Sonego exits in the first round of the US Open, defeated in five sets by Australian Tristan Schoolkate with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (4), 1-6, 1-6, 7-6 after 4 hours and 18 minutes of play. On the courts of Flushing Meadows, the Turin native went down two sets, then after a great comeback took the match to the fifth set, but lost to the Australian, ranked 96th in the world.
