Rome, Aug 27 (LaPresse) – Syria has expressed its "strong condemnation and denunciation" of the Israeli drone strike targeting a Syrian army unit near the city of al-Kiswah, in the Damascus countryside. According to the Sana agency, the attack resulted in six deaths. The Damascus Foreign Ministry stated that the strike constitutes "a serious violation of international law and the United Nations Charter" and called on the UN Security Council to "assume its legal and moral responsibilities to end these repeated attacks and to compel Israeli authorities to stop the ongoing violations against Syria, its people, and its national institutions."
