Milan, 27 August (LaPresse) – Two teenagers aged 15 and 17 were charged on 1 August with “criminal association for terrorist purposes” for planning to attack synagogues and the Eiffel Tower. According to Le Figaro, the two minors are from Val-de-Marne and Paris and “come from families of Arab-Muslim origin”. Le Figaro writes that ‘the two young men shared the same fascination with the Islamic State and spread its propaganda’ and also discussed the possibility of travelling abroad to fight. According to the newspaper, the two were arrested on 29 and 30 July as part of an investigation that began in April this year.
