Milan, 27 August (LaPresse) – A Council of Ministers shrouded in uncertainty is meeting in France this morning at 10 a.m., returning from the holidays. French President Emmanuel Macron, returning from Fort Brégançon where he spent the summer, will hold the meeting at the Élysée Palace. The members of the executive are meeting two days after Prime Minister François Bayrou announced that on 8 September he will take responsibility before the National Assembly for his government's debt and the budget target to be set for 2026, placing his confidence in it. In order for François Bayrou to seek the confidence of the Assembly, Bfmtv points out, a resolution by the Council of Ministers is required. Government spokesperson Sophie Primas will hold her traditional press conference at the end of the morning, after the Council meeting.
