Milan, August 25 (LaPresse) – The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement describing the attack today on the Nasser hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, which caused at least 20 deaths including 5 journalists, as a "tragic incident." "Israel expresses deep regret for the tragic incident that occurred today at the Nasser hospital in Gaza," the statement from Netanyahu’s office reads. "Israel appreciates the work of journalists, medical staff, and all civilians," it continues, adding that "military authorities are conducting a thorough investigation." "Our war is against the terrorists of Hamas. Our rightful objectives are to defeat Hamas and bring our hostages home," it concludes.
