Turin, 22 August (LaPresse) – Russia ‘is doing everything possible to stop the war that began in 2014 against the people of Donbass’. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, quoted by Ria Novosti. ‘They say we started the war, forgetting that it was they themselves who started the war in 2014, when they began using tanks and aircraft against the civilian population of Donbass,’ he explained during a meeting with employees of Russian nuclear industry companies. ‘That's when the war started, and we are doing everything we can to stop it,’ added the Kremlin leader.
