Turin, August 21 (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has issued a statement, attributed to a senior Israeli official, saying that once a venue for negotiations is determined, the prime minister will order the dispatch of an Israeli delegation to hold talks aimed at securing the release of all remaining hostages and ending the war under Israel’s conditions. This was reported by the Times of Israel.
It is unclear whether Netanyahu’s statement was coordinated with any of the Arab mediators currently awaiting Israel’s response to a gradual hostage release proposal accepted by Hamas on Monday.
