Milan, 17 August (LaPresse) – ‘There can be no territorial discussions on Ukraine without Ukrainian leaders.’ This was reiterated by French President Emmanuel Macron, speaking to journalists after the meeting of the so-called coalition of the willing, held by video conference on the eve of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Washington to meet Donald Trump, following Trump's mid-August summit with Vladimir Putin in Alaska. Several European leaders, including Macron himself, will travel to Washington. Zelensky joined today's virtual meeting from Brussels together with EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who will also be in Washington tomorrow. Macron joined from the fort of Brégançon.
