(LaPresse/AP) – Ten people are dead and two missing in China after a sudden flood swept through a campsite in the north of the country, in Urad Rear Banner, a vast mountainous area in the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia, known for its famous campsites. The flood occurred at around 10 p.m. local time on Saturday. According to the Xinhua news agency, 13 campers were initially reported missing, then on Sunday morning one of them was rescued and eight bodies were found; later in the day, two more bodies were found. Search and rescue operations are ongoing to find the other two missing people.
