Milan, 16 August (LaPresse) – Hamas may have changed its position on the release of hostages and would be willing to agree to a “partial agreement”. This was reported yesterday evening by Channel 12, citing a classified document received by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to the Israeli newspaper, Netanyahu received a document on Thursday stating that Hamas' position is in line with the offer made by US special envoy Steve Witkoff, which includes the release of 10 live hostages and 18 dead hostages in exchange for a 60-day ceasefire and the release of Palestinian prisoners. These possible negotiations could be faster than previous cases, according to two sources cited by Channel 12, who explained that Hamas' response could be ready as early as next week.
