Rome, Aug. 15 (LaPresse) – Russia expects a return visit from US President Donald Trump after his upcoming summit with Vladimir Putin in Alaska. This was stated in an interview with Tass Rodion Miroshnik, special envoy of the Russian Foreign Ministry for crimes of the Kiev regime. When asked if Trump could visit Russia, Miroshnik replied: “If the Russian leader travels to the United States, we expect the US president to visit Russia in turn. This is logical and underscores the development and expansion of relations between Russia and the United States, given that ties between the two major geopolitical powers are not limited to Ukraine.” He stressed that Washington and Moscow share a broad agenda, which includes international and global issues, as well as direct economic, cultural, sports, and other exchanges, many of which have been suspended and, in his view, should be resumed in the interests of both sides. When asked whether Trump could visit Crimea, Miroshnik replied: “Let's not take ourselves too seriously.”
