Washington (USA), Aug. 14 (LaPresse) – Donald Trump believes that Vladimir Putin will attend tomorrow’s summit in Alaska with the intention of reaching an agreement to end the war in Ukraine. “I believe he is now convinced he will reach a deal. I think he will. And we’ll find out, I’ll know very soon,” the president said during an appearance on Fox Radio’s The Brian Kilmeade Show. Trump also suggested that his goal is to move toward a trilateral meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky, indicating that “three different venues” are on the table, including the option of “staying in Alaska.” If the meeting goes badly, the U.S. president said, “I won’t call anyone, I’ll go home… But if it’s positive, I will call President Zelensky and European leaders.”
