Frankfurt (Germany), August 13 (LaPresse) – "Today we want to firmly clarify the Europeans' position. That is why it is important that Zelensky is here today. It is also a sign that President Putin's attempts to create a rift between Europe and Ukraine, which we have witnessed several times, have not succeeded, and that both sides are very united in this process." This was stated by the German government deputy spokesman, Steffen Meyer, during a press conference regarding the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Berlin today, to participate in video conferences with EU leaders and US President Donald Trump ahead of the meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
