Milan, 12 August (LaPresse) – Chinese President Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation with his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in which he stated that ‘China will work with Brazil to set an example of unity and self-sufficiency among the major countries of the Global South’. This was reported by Chinese state media. Xi invited Lula to “build together” a “more just world and a more sustainable planet”.
