Rome, 12 August (LaPresse) – Ukrainian defence forces have hit the command post of the 85th separate motorised rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in the Donetsk region. This was reported by RBC Ukraine, citing a Telegram post by the Kiev General Staff. ‘Ukrainian defence forces continue to destroy the command posts of the occupying Russian troops,’ the report reads. ‘The target was the command post of the 85th Motorised Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.’ According to preliminary data, following an attack with a high-precision weapon, the brigade commander with the call sign “Dnepr” and five members of the operational staff were eliminated.
