Rome, 9 August (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that he spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron, whom he thanked for his support. ‘Ukraine, France and all our partners are ready to work as productively as possible to achieve real peace,’ Zelensky wrote on X, stressing that ‘it is really important that the Russians do not manage to deceive anyone again.’ ‘We all need a genuine end to the war and reliable foundations for security for Ukraine and other European nations,’ he added.
