Milan, August 6 (LaPresse) – “Just as I was heading to visit our brigades here in the Sumy region, I spoke with President Trump. The conversation took place after the visit to Moscow by President Trump’s representative, Steve Witkoff.” This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a post on social media.
“Our joint position with our partners is absolutely clear: the war must end. And it must be an honest conclusion,” Zelensky added.
“European leaders also took part in the conversation, and I am grateful to each of them for their support. We discussed what was said in Moscow.”
“Ukraine will certainly defend its independence,” Zelensky concluded. “We all need a lasting and reliable peace. Russia must end the war it started. Thank you to everyone who supports Ukraine.”
