Turin, August 5 (LaPresse) – “Last night, the Russians launched a ballistic missile and nearly fifty drones against Ukraine, mostly Russian-Iranian-made 'Shahed' drones. Many were shot down by our defenders, but unfortunately some hit their targets,” wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on X.
“Emergency services worked throughout the night in Lozova, in the Kharkiv region. There, the Russians struck civilian infrastructure with over 25 Shahed drones,” he continued.
“The railway was damaged, including a depot and a station. One person was killed in the attack, and another 10 were injured, including two children. All are receiving assistance.”
“The regions of Zaporizhzhia, Odessa, and Sumy were also attacked overnight. In the village of Bilenke, in the Zaporizhzhia district, the occupiers directly targeted people with drones. Two were injured. Once again, the Russian army hunts civilians in an attempt to terrorize frontline towns and communities,” he added.
