Turin, August 5 (LaPresse) – The Israeli Defense Forces struck dozens of terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip over the past day with artillery fire. According to the army, over 30 targets were hit in southern Gaza, including buildings and apartments used by Hamas to launch attacks against troops in the area. In northern Gaza, Israeli forces killed several militants and struck other buildings used by terrorist groups.

Hamas authorities reported yesterday that over 90 people were killed in Israeli bombings on Gaza in the previous 24 hours.

Also in southern Gaza, the Israeli army destroyed a building where, according to the IDF, an entrance to a tunnel had been located, and militants who approached the forces were killed. Tunnels were also demolished during operations by the Givati Brigade in Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip, according to the IDF.
