Kyiv, August 4 (LaPresse) – Several explosions were heard overnight in Odesa and Kyiv due to Russian drone raids, according to Odesa’s mayor, Hennadii Trukhanov, as reported by Ukrinform. The Ukrainian capital was also hit: the city’s regional military administration urged residents to remain sheltered in bunkers.
On the other side, Russian air defense systems shot down 61 Ukrainian drones overnight after they entered Russian territory, according to the Russian news agency Tass. The attack caused a fire at a railway station in the southern Volgograd region, but no casualties or damage have been reported.
