Milan, 2 August (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has postponed a decision on what action the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) will take in Gaza if Hamas does not accept a ceasefire agreement. This was reported to CNN by a source close to the matter. The source said that the decision will not be made this week and reported internal disagreements within the Israeli government about the course of action to take in the Palestinian enclave. One idea on the table if Hamas fails to reach an agreement, the source added, is to surround Gaza City and other population centres, while another is to “conquer” the city.
