Rome, July 30 (LaPresse/AP) – The Mexican Navy has announced that waves between 30 and 100 centimeters high are expected along Mexico’s Pacific coast following the tsunami triggered by the 8.8-magnitude earthquake in Kamchatka, Russia's Far East.

In a report, the Navy's tsunami warning center stated that waves would begin reaching the northern coast at Ensenada, near California, around 2:22 a.m. on Wednesday (Mexico Central Time), and continue moving south along the Pacific coast, reaching the state of Chiapas around 7:15 a.m. local time.
