Milan, 28 July (LaPresse) – ‘Even Italy, which has always been a cradle of culture, has found itself under the influence of neo-Nazis, mostly Ukrainians.’ This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, commenting on the ‘scandalous’ cancellation of conductor Valery Gergiev's concert scheduled at the Royal Palace of Caserta. ‘Even there, among Italy's leaders, there are still people who, like Germany, vote at the UN against the resolution on the inadmissibility of glorifying Nazism,’ Lavrov added. ‘Germany, Italy and Japan vote against it.’ This was reported by the Tass news agency.
